Skating since:  May 2009

What made you get involved in roller derby?I moved from VA Beach and didn't know anybody.  I worked at Starbucks and a customer asked if I skated.  I told her 'not really'.  she suggested i should come to practice with her and she plays roller derby.  I didn't have anything better to do so I went.

How did you pick your name?  I am one of those lame skaters who actually skates by her real name.  I'm just not creative enough to think of a cool derby name.

Favorite derby memory:  In 2011, we played Charlottesville and were down.  It came down to the last jam.  We forced a track cut on their jammer and we managed to win the game.  I got hurt in the second half.  However, I wasn't going to miss our victory lap.  I hopped all the way around the track and people started chanting my name.  It was pretty awesome.

Derby Mantra:  'Shut up and Skate'

Likes:  Dogs, cake, food, voting, your mom, pasta, coffee, fall, camping, hiking, food, the mountains.

Dislikes:  cats, spicy food, people who try to hug me that I don't know, people who are assholes for no reason, people who don't like roller derby, hunting for sport, congress, summer, and the beach.

Pre bout rituals:  I pee, ALOT.

Real job:  Full-time student, student assistant to the Director of my college's career development department.
