What made you get involved in roller derby?  I watched Rocktown play and fell in love.  First I thought I would just be an enthuriast.  I didn't think I could do it.  Then I thought, 'why the hell not?'  I love the women here - the empowering atmosphere.  I've been so welcomed.  It's a community.  

Favorite derby memory:  Getting to hit the big bag.  Shopping cart drills and Virginia is for Shovers.  

Derby Mantra:  'All we do is try.'

Likes:  Coffee, Netflix, swimming, glitter, my red helmet, hugs, chocolate, hitting (in practice).  

Dislikes:  Sauerkraut, fallling, mean people, derby funk, patriarchy, poor sportsmanship, hitting (not in practice).  

Pre bout rituals:  Cheering for my Big!!
